We’ve been celebrating Pancake Day at preschool with lots of hands on learning and excitement! The children explored fresh lemons, squeezing and investigating them while commenting “Squeeze!”, “Bit cold!” and “Sour!”

There was plenty of energy during our pancake races too, with the children carefully balancing and flipping bean bags in pans, counting down “1, 2, 3, flip!” and proudly saying “I’m gonna flip it!”

At snack time, the celebrations continued as everyone enjoyed real pancakes, choosing their own tasty toppings of jam and/or marshmallows 🥞✨
