We are exploring Chinese New Year within the preschool.  The children used playdoh to create colourful shapes, enhancing their creativity and motor skills.  The children used chop sticks and Chinese playdoh cutters to make marks in the playdoh.  They also explored noodles, picking them up with chop sticks, feeling the texture and smell. Home corners were transformed into imaginary Chinese restaurants that become a playful setting where the children set tables, take orders, and serve noodle dishes to friends.
