What a fantastic day we’ve had at preschool celebrating World Book Day! The children all looked amazing in their wonderful costumes, dressing up as characters from their favourite stories or coming into setting in pyjamas. From superheroes to princesses, dinosaurs to animals – it was wonderful to see such creativity and excitement for books and reading.

Throughout the day, we enjoyed sharing some of the children’s favourite stories together.  We also sang songs and rhymes linked to our favourite characters.

At preschool, we know that a love of books helps to build strong language skills, imagination, and a lifelong passion for reading. Thank you to all our parents and carers for supporting the day and helping to make it so special.

We can’t wait to keep the book magic going every day in preschool!
